Volleyball team huddle vs Bryn Mawr

Gettysburg sports one of the strongest volleyball traditions across NCAA Division III. The Bullets have made 14 appearances in the national playoffs since 1991 and have claimed an unprecedented 11 Centennial Conference championships.

Since joining the Centennial Conference in 1993, Gettysburg has maintained a steady diet of victories, particularly in the conference play where the team has won 77 percent of its contests. The Bullets have posted perfect conference regular seasons (10-0) six times and won 50 consecutive matches from 1994 to 1999. Gettysburg is second in the Centennial with 35 first-team all-conference selections and first with eight Players of the Year.

In addition to the team accolades, Catherine Schott '00 is the conference's all-time leader in kills in a match (35), kills in a season (650), and kills in a career (2,239). Schott was the first Centennial volleyball player named first or second team All-American and she is the only player in conference history to land Player of the Year honors three times. Four Bullets have been tabbed All-America by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), while 16 have earned All-Mid-Atlantic Region accolades.
